"After months of planning (and dust!), our major home renovation is finally complete, and I couldn't be more in love with the transformation. We completely gutted 3.5 bathrooms, remodeled the kitchen, and redesigned 6 rooms, and there isn't a space in our home that Vanessa didn't touch. Vanessa, our designer, immediately understood my style and gently pushed me outside my comfort zone in the best ways. She turned my home office into a sophisticated, elevated "boss lady" space. Our former formal dining room is now a stunning conversation lounge, perfect for entertaining or just spending time with family. A room with awkward angles is now a serene library and hidden guest retreat, complete with a sleeper sofa that looks like it belongs in a boutique hotel. We live in a 6,500 sq ft home with 5 bedrooms, 5 full baths, and 2 half baths. Vanessa managed every detail, every trade, and every challenge from start to finish. The renovation started in late February and was beautifully completed by early May, an incredible feat. She also thoughtfully incorporated meaningful pieces that reflect our family's story. After 8 years of living in it, our house finally feels like home, so warm, stylish, and livable that I never want to leave. If you're looking for a designer who brings both creativity and project management excellence to the table, I cannot recommend Vanessa enough. She's the real deal."

"Vanessa is unique in that she is kind but honest, creative but budget conscious, if necessary, flexible with style and time but dependable, genuine in her desire to create your dream space, and fun. I worked with other designers who struggle to deviate from their own style, but Vanessa listens, doesn’t take it personally if you have a different opinion, and can decorate in any style while making the design work with the style of the home. She sees big picture and small details. She doesn’t rush the process but also works efficiently or at the client’s pace. Some of our projects have been slow and others quite fast. She is patient when we aren’t ready to dive in all the way. When I can’t make a decision, she is decisive or shares her thoughts on all of the options so that we can make the best decision and keep the project moving. She has yet to be wrong. She has excellent contractors who clearly like working with her as she is professional but will advocate for her client if necessary. She has lots of experience, she’s a mother, a wife and a professional so she also understands the reality of having kids and families in a pretty space. She utilizes a variety of vendors and will find the best deals. I love working with Vanessa, and find myself looking for more projects and item to update once we complete a project."

"I have been working with Vanessa with Savvy Designs over the last 2 years. She has helped us in various capacities starting from architectural design with our big renovation project to the minor details. She has been of tremendous help with designing my dream kitchen with a selection of tiles and paint to the light fixtures and hardware. She really helped my vision come to life. She has also helped with picking out furniture and artwork to help make our space more cohesive. I love that she has not been too pushy and considers my vision all while being budget-conscious. Besides her talent in design, I find her to be an honest and hardworking woman. I have enjoyed working with Vanessa and will continue to do so in the future."

"Our house flooded Christmas Eve while we were away on vacation so this remodel was stressfully forced upon us. We had tried another designer but we were not making the traction needed in a timely manner which only increased the stress levels. Looking into local designers I found Vanessa on Facebook and after reading her positive reviews I immediately reached out. Vanessa was extremely responsive and we booked time for her to come out for a consultation. I was impressed with her knowledge and how she really wanted to integrate with MY style. When making selections for the kitchen countertops I fell in love with a leathered Taj Mahal piece for the island but didn't want to use it throughout the kitchen. Vanessa suggested using a different, coordinating countertop on the perimeter which allowed us to get more creative with the backsplash and I absolutely LOVE the way it turned out. I simply would not have been able to select tile or paint colors without Vanessa's help - she was integral in the process. To prepare for the photoshoot with the general contractor Vanessa came in and added the decor for the kitchen, butler's pantry, pantry and dining room. I am obsessed with how everything turned out! Vanessa helped turn this unfortunate situation into a home that I love so much more than before."
